Utricularia vulgaris is an aquatic plant most suitable for the
aquarium. Often known as the Bladderwort, it produces
clusters of yellow flowers. It has hair-like leaves and small
green bladders with an opening at the apex guarded by a valve,
which opens inwards. It is easy for insects to. get inside the
bladder but impossible for them to regain their liberty.
